Richard is a forester and has spent nearly 20 years working in forests across the country. He works with private landowners, public agencies, Tribes, nonprofits, and academic institutions to better steward their land, and create lasting solutions to resource problems that strike a balance between ecology and economics. He is a member of the Forests Stewards Guild and Society of American Foresters, and previously served as the Connecticut State Chair of SAF. Richard lives in Vermont with his wife, two daughters, dog, cats, and fish.
