Richard is a forester and has spent nearly 20 years working in forests across the country. He has worked with private landowners, public agencies, nonprofits, and academic institutions to better steward their forests, and create lasting solutions to forest problems that strike a balance between ecology and economics. Richard has Master of Forestry degree from Yale University, and lives in Vermont with his wife, two daughters, dog, cats, and fish.
